after new dvd drive

I'm wanting to get a new dvd drive as my one is getting to be very load and doesn't seem to be reading as well.

I have a choice of -
Samsung SH-S223B 22X SATA DVDRW Burner Black

I can also get a blueray drive for $170 but is that still too costly?

thanks. Yeh i don't think i will be doing much blueray at the moment until the blank discs are cheaper but it might be worth it in the long run to upgrade now unless i get a dvd one and later when blueray is even cheaper just get a blueray one that doesn't do dvd or cd as a secondary one if that would be made or would they all do dvd and cd and i'll just be doubling up.

I've got two Samsungs and love them.

just stick with a major brand such as the 2 you said and lg is a great one. i have 2 of them.. as for light scribe, Who has the time to wait for it to burn???? and as far as blu-ray forget it. why pay more for the burner and up to 25$ for 1 disc... give me a brake..
