After powercut computer won't turn on

Hi,

Yesturday night I was away and when I got back there was a powercut. The next day I tried to turn the computer on and it didnt do anything. Nothing happened att all. Help would be appreciated.
 
Do you have a surge suppressor?

You can try replugging the power cord at the back. There is a strong possibility that the power supply has been damaged, and will need to be replaced.
 
If it was on try unplugging it and then plugging it back in. That might work. If it was off check your power points
 
my really old Dell survives power cuts all the time while on 24/7 and its just on a powerstrip. hopefully nothing happened
