Do you think I can run my Radeon 9550 along with the current Radeon X1300 Pro in a AGP/PCI-E Crossfire setup on an SLI board? Now something like that would probably a "feat of engineering" there.
newegg doesnt post those... the companys that are selling the cards put all the info in, i actually notified newegg one time and thats what they told me. lol
for all we know it does support crossfire... i mean ATI made it pretty easy to connect two cards with two monitor cables, but its AGP so the motherboard doesnt support it.... ATI only designed the GPU, the manufacturer built the rest of the card..
Well I was reading something on a dual slot mobo (AGP and PCIe) about dual compatiblility, had no idea what it was talking about but that kind of fits that scenario. I think it is labeled incorrectly because I have something very similar (if not the same) and it says everywhere on the box that it's Crossfire compatible but the fine print reads that it's PCIe models only.
