Thats wrong, the X1600 Pro has 4 pipe lines but 12 pixel shading units ( It has 4 with 3 shader units per pipe). Just search for X1600 pro specs by google.http://
PC eye- If you don't want to accept the fact that X1600 has 4 pipes then thats is your own problem.
If you want, you can ask at this forum here http://techreport.com/forums/ about how many pipes does X1600 have, and I'm sure that they will tell you 4 pipes. Peope their a that forum know a lot about video cards.
hmm... If 2 7800GTX, or a x1900XT(X) can run it maxed out at avg 30 - 40 fps... i dont see how a x1600 could tbh...Pros: Way better then my nvidia 6800! I have thrown company of heros, battlefield 2, and oblivion at this card and everything runs on max settings! Very good card
hmm... but one of the comments.

Yeah, you always get the occasional person saying how their FX5200/MX4000 will play everything at max settings with no laghmm... Don't rely on newegg specs. After weeding out about a half dozen of newegg's errors in our PSU101 guide, I can assure you they are not always accurate. You should ask newegg to ask at that forum since they are the ones listing the ATI Radeon X1600 Pro 512mb AGP GDDR2 model seen at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102678 as having "12 pixel pipelines".

Ignoring the pipeline buzzword, it is indisputable that the X1600Pro has 12 shaders/4 TMUs/4 ROPs compared to the 12/12/16 (trusting GPUreview on the latter) on the X850Pro.
