whic is better, ive been reading around and heard the PCI is better and as i read on i read that the PCI is old and AGP is the way to go.
I just really want to know cause i already bought a PCI motherboard
thanks

PCI is the oldest of the currently used standards. AGP is significantly faster than PCI, and also offers a much wider range of newer cards. PCI-Express is currently the best and fastest, which offers the latest in video card technology.

You were confusing PCI with PCI-E. It would be a mistake to make a system with AGP or PCI, deffinatley go PCI-E.

regular PCI bus is pretty old and you're stuck with the 9250 as the best card for PCI (that'd be my situation), and PCIexpress is the newer slot meant for video cards. If you have regular PCI get the Radeon 9250 if you want the best graphics possible for that slot.

well there's the pci-e X1, X4 X16, generally only the X16 is used for graphics card, though I've seen some workstation cards using X1.

Also, I believe the best pci card would be the 5700LE, but that doesn't really matter here :P

I wouldn't really go with the ATI Raeon 9250.....
Get BFG Ge force FX 5500 :D its quite better! (a bit more expensive, but you might as well get a good one)

...one tihng nice about PCI Slots is that oyu can plug lots of stuff in them, like modems, neon, video cards, etc, but again, you can get the FX 5500 PCI slot for 200$, and the same card for a AGP slot for 170$. Very sad :(
