What better to have a grahics card in, AGP or PCI because im looking for a new card and i don't know wether AGP or PCI is better.

yeah, thats the order, unless your mobo doesnt have pci-e, or a agp, then your stuck with the old junk pci..

Well PCI, PCI-E and PCI-E 16x are all different. AGP, AGP Pro and ISA are all different and both categories are different from each other.

ISA> ALL :d
That means greater than :P

The more common ones would be ISA > VESA > PCI... There was also MCA by IBM, but that's just in the old PS/2s. And of course, there are other interfaces for other systems, non x86 and all.

OK, I'm getting off topic :o

Or you could just say the basic ones...

ISA, PCI, AGP, PCI-E.

like i said, PCI-E and PCI-E 16x are different. The slots themselves are completely different. PCI-E is small and PCI-E is long.

you mean PCI-E 16X is long?

PCI-E x16 is a form of PCI-E. The other slots you see on the motherboard may be PCI-E x1, or PCI-E x4.

Yes, PCI-E x16 is longer then the x1, x4, x8 and so on, but is about the same size as an AGP card.
