AGP slots on MOBO

what do AGP slots do on a motherboard? what are they for? this mobo (ASUS A8N-E ATX AMD) doesnt have any is it good to have AGP slots?
 
AGP is an older video card interface.

If the mobo has PCI-Express 16X slot you don't need to worry about it couse it's newer and better.

Jeesh, I'm actually getting sick of my old motherboard because it only supports AGP. All the new graphic cards come in a PCI-E interface. Gr!

Well it would be useless cuz sound cards don't use so much data bandwith.
