Ahh... thats JUST what i wanted to smell when i woke up

i woke up from my nap today, with smoke POURING out of my friggen POS Powmax PSU, its was pretty damned good while it worked... but anyways PSU fried RMA'ing it back to geeks.com, getting a refund and am not going to go cheap this time on a PSU, prolly about $50-$55, any suggestions? silver with blue lights are a plus, and pre sleeved cables is also a plus

lol Powmax PSU. why?!?! anyways, go to like $70 and get the Antec Neo HE 430w or the Seasonic S12-430.

the psu i had was a rosewill. silver, with blue lights, and cable sleeves. and its right in ur price range.

the one i had didnt have a dual +12v rail. but this one does.

needed a month or so use out of it, then id get a better one, its just that i simply cant afford a new PSU and HDD, but ill just go back to my old PSU for now

Rosewill 500w PSUs are made by Powmax IIRC. When you can afford it, go for a seasonic. Quiet and reliable.
