Aim connection

I was just wonder if anyone knows how to help me?.. I can not connect to aim cause my work has surfcontrol and i have tryed different proxy and they all seem not to work... i was wondering if anyone else knew of anything that i could try... undefinedundefined

the only thing i can come up with is trying the auto configure thing under preferences, sign on/off, connection

I tryed to do a auto configure and i got a error message that said auto conf failed- If your organization connects to the internet througha firewall, you may need to configure netscape messenger to connect through a SOCKS or HTTPS proxy server....Can some one help me with that i have no idea how to do that or where to get proxys that work since alot of them are blocked for me

does your work use proxies? if not just set it to use port 80 also try port 443.

Gotta make sure if port 5190 is open or not ... if it isnt you're kinda out of luck methinks
