AIM is a bitch.

i installed AIM. It added itself to my startup list. I've removed it many times using msconfig but it keeps adding itself back on. Its never done this before. wtf!? any ideas on how to keep it off the list permenantly.

did u uncheck the start aim when windows starts in the AIM options? that might be implementing itself everytime you start up because it is checked.

if the setting sin aim tell it to boot up at startup, no matter what you do in msconfig, its gonne keep booting up. lok in the settings for the option to take it off

ya, like they said, if you uncheck it from msconfig, once you open aim then its gonna put itself back there, unless you have a program that locks the items in startup. but if you disable it in the aim preferences, then it wont start up with windows.

^aim ad hack.....free, and it cleans up aim, makes it run more smoothly....gets rid of the pesky ads
