AirPlus G DWL-G510 not working

I am running my new desktop with a AirPlus G DWL-G510. I have a Linksys WRT54G router, which I am trying to use as accesspoint.

Ok this is what happend :

First I tried connecting, it went just fine. I could go in the internet and I tried downloading GFX drivers. All of a sudden the connection dies. So I scan the environment for networks. Nothing. I scan again and my WRT54G appears. I connect, it says "Waiting for Network" and the status button turns green. 3 secs later the status turns red and the Waiting for Network hasn't disappeared yet. I cancel and search again, my WRT54G is gone. So I go to my laptop and try it out, since it WLAN aswell. No connectivity, seemed as if the router was playing games with me, I connected , it kicked me , I connected, it kicked me. I couldn't access the router status menu so I unplugged modem and router. Still, the same connect, kick etc. Then I started my other desktop , which is connected via ethernet. At first it doesn't work any good either, I cant access status page and everything. So another unplugging session. After that I finally manage getting into the router menu. It was just like it has to be, no settings were changed. So I play around with the WLAN settings and then I manage to get the WLAN working on my laptop.
My problem is that the desktop (in the cellar) can't find my router ( living room on the ground floor ) . :S I thought it might be due to the walls but why could connect to it earlier if that was the problem ?

Please help me out quickly !

Your router may be having power issues, anything maybe loosen the power cable? This happens to me as my router is on the floor near my feet, sometimes when i kick it, it loses connectivity.

If you think it may be the walls then you could test that theory by moving your desktop into you living room. If it can connect with no problem upstairs then it probably is the walls. I know it is a pain in the butt to move it but it might be worth a shot.

The walls are not the problem, i think its channel based.
I connect for a little, load one or 2 sites but really slow and then I get kicked off.
