I have personal experience with Alienware. DO NOT buy them. Like people have said, the machines are great. Mine was awesome for the first year. I have had 2 problems with it since then. Now it is in the shop and has been for over a week. (They quote a 3 day turn-around). The tech support is garbage, and like someone else also said. They will not sell replacement parts. They make you send they system to them and pay $250 repair bills on top of the very expensive parts (I was quoted 1200 for a new mobo.)

i love the new vaio's, although like someone else has said blu-ray might have some problems with profits (any product that limits its use with porn will never last IMO). Can you imagine how crystal clear a blu-ray dvd playing on a 1900x1600 resolution 17" lcd display will look!! Makes my w*lly tingle just thinking about it.

Blu-Ray is the most popular form of HD movies right now, if anything it seems like HD DVD will be the flop.
