Hi, for a while now I have been experiencing some troubles with my Alienware m14X r2. Booting up takes a while. Here is what it's like: First I press the power button and then the alienware logo comes up. It loads...1 min later I am on the log on screen. I put in my password. It loads... 30 secs later I'm on the empty desktop. Its just a taskbar and my start8 button. Then the taskbar items load up one by one. its been another 30 seconds by the time the desktop icons come up. After that the screen blacks out for about 10 seconds and pops up with 'X fire box that asks if you want to start it' I click no and t hen the screen is blue. It loads up the taskbar and stuff about 30 seconds later. Now if I try to open any programs within 5 mins from that point the computer really strains its self.
You can hear the fans blasting out hot air! and now 10 mins later I can FINALLY play a game
(Well running half of the frames i used to get before)
I tried solving this by factory resetting it. But that is a whole new problem in it's self
If anyone knows a solution then get back to me A.S.A.P
