All of sudden i have No icons/taskbar

well here's my story, i was Out and one of my dumb sisters was using my computer. called me to tell me the screen went black so sh restarted Now there is no task Bar or icon's on the desktop only the background picture. i can get to fire fox and a few other things via task manger "new task" Any help anyone??:mad:

EDIT: apparently there was a blue screen that Came up saying something had happen and it has not happen before and To restart the computer. after restarting there was No task bar/icons

A restart would have gotten explorer back running but obviously thats not the problem.

You are prob infected. Try a system restore of a previous point as someone mentioned. Restore is always the first thing to try as it helps alot of the time.
