Alright.. found the card(s) i'm getting..

Alright.. I've decided to go with the following:

I'll be getting this card tomorrow:

^^ But the version i'm getting of that card has 256mb not 128.

Then I will be buying this at the begining of September.

Opinions on these cards? Would the 800XL work good even though it's not a GIGABYTE and my Motherboard and a few other things are? Thanks guys.

The X800XL is a very nice card ... doesnt matter all that much if the brands dont match up The X800XL in fact is vastly superior to the other card Only thing you need to make sure of is that AGP and PCIE match up between the motherboard and the videocard

Yeah, the comparable card to the X800XL would be the 6800GT, not the 6600 in the first place. But still, the X800XL usually outperforms even that card... (not the 7800 though )

The X800XL has 16 pipelines where the 6800GT has 8. And it has a few better things. I think the X800XL is a clear winner between the 2, but it looks real good, I cannot wait to get this card and get rid of the 2 i'm gonna have. (The 9550 and the 6600).

That's true, I was just stating what the comparable one in the NVidia line was, not that it would perform better, which I said... That's why I put in the bit about the 7800, because the 7800 is hands down better than the X800XL...

I meant the 6600. I have the 6600 not the GT version, and yes... I see quite a bit difference..

yes yes, its my mistake. if you look at my first post im talkin bout the 6600 and the X800XL.
