I have been using avg, avira, and Trend Micro.(avg and avira, free while trend is on the trial). Until I got avira, i have not had any virus warnings pop up but now that I have avira, i have been getting a couple but, when i try to get rid of them they pop right back up. I have tried to quarantine and delete the virus's but it still keeps popping up. Is there something I am doing wrong, what is a good(preferably free) anti-malware or anti-virus software that will fix these problems. I have also been getting popups of when I am online and some other site on a new browser will pop up.

Why do you use two antivirsues? stick with one I use Avira for about 3 months now, and no viruses since.

Ive just recently got avira and Trend to see what I had, Avira so far, is the way to go because it has fixed a couple of my problems but i am still getting popups a lot

ok, i was gonna try it earlier but when I looked it up It said you had to pay for it but I guess not, so, Im gonna try and see how it goes.

All we need is the free version. There is a paid version which offers real-time protection, but it's not needed for removing malware.

Please post the log that Malwarebytes' created along with a HiJackThis log, links to the instructions can be found in ceewi1' first post.

avira had created same problem with me also.
just ignores the pop ups and move the pop ups to corner and scan all ur drives with avira. then if any infection is found, check the option 'apply to all' and choose ur action.
