Alternate to WinXP Explorer?

Is there an alternative to using WinXP's default explorer to view folder contents. I've always hate it when XP Explorer tries to thumbnail an .mkv or .ogg file, can't do it, and prevents me from safely ejecting the external USB HD containing those video files.

There is one alternative to the default MyComputer or Windows Explorer found in accessories that goes by the name of "ExplorerXP". Surprisingly despite the "XP" name it works well on 2000 machines as well. Whether this freeware will help you there will be discovered if you try it for yourself. That is found at http://www.explorerxp.com/ It goes right on without a hitch and can be removed in the add/remove programs just as easily if needed.
