Always comes up untitled?

Every time I attempt to save something it comes up as untitled as opposed to its saved name when put up on the net. I know there is a place to change the setting, I did a search and couldn't find it on here anywhere. I have a brain fart, thanks for the help.
 
1. What program are you using to save the file
2. What program are you using to view the file
3. Where is it saying 'untitled'? Is that the new file name, or in a title bar?
4. What type of file is it?
5. Is this only when on the net, or when you preview it from your hard drive?

I'm going to go out on a limb, and guess that you're trying to make a webpage? Perhaps using Microsoft FrontPage? In which case, you need to go to Page Properties and change the 'Title'.

I forgot to mention every time I attempt to save something it pops up only the option to save as a bitmap.

What program? Is this just with images? Are you trying to save the image, or save a page containing the image?
 
Its when I have Internet Explorer as my browser and attempt to save a picture from a site or board, basically anywhere online. It says it in the file name. Most of them are jpegs, thats what is strange to me. It only gives me the bitmap choice though. I am just trying to save the image itself.
