Am I Missing Something Here?

So I was looking at the HD I plan to buy for the PC I'm currently building when I ran across this...

320gb HD for $100, or a 500gb HD for just $10 more..? Am I missing something here, or can I really get 180 more gb of HD space for just $10.....?

I don't think you are missing anything, I think you can get more in fact the seek time is even quicker on the 500gb HDD !. I'm pretty sure it would work on vista but get someone else's opinion on that as it does not say it supports vista.

no, hard drive sizerice ratios are silly. Should run vista fine, don't see why not. I've put it on an old 20GB hdd before now so I wouldn't worry about it

You can get much cheaper 320GB drives then $99 though.

After converting to USD I paid about $113 for my 320GB HDD, that was the cheapest 320gb SATAII with a 16mb cache so compared to England thats a very good deal you got going there.
