Am i protected?

If im connect to the internet through another computer which has virus software, but my computer does not, am i protected?
 
I assume you mean that you connect through a virtual machine or through a remote connection such as PC Anywhere. Basically, if you have a virus scan on the remote computer, any actions/downloads should be scanned on that machine. However, if you store any files on your local hard drive, rather than the remote one, I would recommend a backup Anti Virus for your local machine.
