You're using the stock heatsink, right?

EDIT: Also, your CPU is classified in CPU-Z as a Phenom, but because it's a Regor core and not Deneb, it's physically an Athlon II X4...

I know you're using the stock heatsink because there aren't really any other heatsinks that will let your CPU hit that temperature. Or were you referring to the Athlon/Phenom thing?

athlon/phenom thing lol

I might be wrong about this, but I'm pretty sure that an Athlon CPU is an Athlon CPU always. You may be able to unlock cores, but you can't turn an Athlon into a Phenom. CPU-Z reads it as a Phenom because it doesn't understand the unlock and # of cores that you ended up with.

oh, so anyways have any hs suggestions?

The one in my FS thread :D

Are you thinking budget, mid-range, or enthusiast heatsink? With heatsinks, it doesn't cost so much to get the best over budget counterparts.

^Hehe I see why you recommend that. Great overclock, I was only able to hit 3.6 with stock cooler and 4.0 with the Xig.
(You should PM me a pic of your build, sounds sweet)

WOW, that makes my 15$ case from geeks.com look like i should of got it for free lol, i also have a sunbeam but my brother stole it

lol well the Phantom is a $140 case :/ I honestly love it, but if I would have known then what I know now chances are I would have never purchased it. In fact I'm thinking of selling it and gettin something different.

a fully contained water cooling system with the 3x120 radiator on the inside the case is going to be hard to make work... extremely hard, but we will see... Im going to order the parts because they are going to stay the same, and if I cant get it to work then I buy a new case and sell this one.
