Just wondering if i need to upgrade fan and heatsink when going from a AMD 64 3200 to a X2 4200. I read somewhere that I should when going from single to dual core, but I have no idea on this stuff. i just know i want to upgrade my processor....thanks
I upgraded a 3700+ to a x2 4200+, since it was OEM it didn't come with another heatsink. I used the one that was on the 3700, it works fine with some pretty decent temps.
