AMD 5000 black for $99.99

hi all wanting to upgrade! right now on newegg they dropped the price $20, so now we practically have an amd 6000...

You mean 5000+??? or are you saying because the 5000+ can OC easily??

Damn, you and me both. It was about 50 bucks more when I was building my rig to go am2, but I heard am3 was around the corner and am2 wasnt worth it so I stuck with 939. Now Im kinda regretting it........(Unless it turns out am3 completely kicks the q6600's bum :D).

nope i mean 6000. this has unlocked multipliers, meaning you turn the multiplier once, bam its a 5200. again its a 5400 or whatever comes next lol. for 99$ and something like a 15$ arctic cooling freezer pro64, you can have an amd 6400 hahaha

That's what I thought... Black version, is a monster.

Haha same here! I was planning on going AM2 when the Black 5000+ was like $140 but then I thought I could go the Intel way. Anyways I didn't upgrade. Still waiting for when I really need an upgrade, see my comp can still keep up with latest games decently... :)

Oh it will beat the Q6600, but not whatever Intel is pulling out of the 45nm... Q9450, no way...
