AMD 7000 series

that just got me thinkin it would be nice if they got a way to cross gens or at least the models of the same gen. i mean i'm sure the way they have it now would make it too hard and all, but what if they changed it so that you could set each card similar to a physx card, so one would do say shading and antialiasing, while the other did the other things, or some arrangement similar to that.

Dont know how well that would work out. It would have to be such a complex driver to figure out what data to send each card. The lapse of time it would take to compile it would probably kill the performance. Right now both cards receive the same data and just render it in alternating or split frame. Lucid has Hydra multi GPU where you can run different cards together, even a AMD and Nvidia together.
