Amd A8 3800 vs intel i5 (2400-2500)

i'm about to buy a new computer and i dont know wich one is better.
I dont play big game like BF3 etc.

So what's the better process ?

If you plan on using the onboard video. The Intels CPU is faster, the AMD onboard video is faster.

nop i have my video card so i wont use the onboard.

so if i'm right it's better to take the i5 ?
