AMD Announces HD3800 Price Drops

Wow, thanks! I was considering either a 3850 512 or 8800gt 512. Even though the 8800 is better, the 3850 was cheaper. Well, this pretty much settles it. Actually, maybe I'll get a 3870 now:D. Now, if that 3870 X2 could come to $200...........
 
does anyone know when it will hit Australia.
if is soon i might wait another 3-4 weeks before i get my 3870, an ill get 2 3870s
 
Lame, 2 weeks after I bought mine! :( well, I wanted to get a 2nd one anyway, and most likely it'll take some time before the price drops over here too. :)
 
I hope that ATI\AMD can make really awesome cards, like they used to. Try to rival Nvidia at the top.
In saying that they have some really awesome cards at the top already.
 
9600GT performs as good as HD3870, and it cost $179, and in some places it cost only $169

If ATI didn't drop the price then there would be no reason for buying HD3870 or HD3850
 
i was reading on toms hardware they were talking to AMD, an AMD told them the reason they dropped there prices where because of the 9600
