AMD APUs on sale

That looks like it would be perfect for a HTPC,Very impressive.

I wonder how that Dual Core Zacate performs compared to the Dual Core Atom. :)

was just thinking exactly that, when we move house my plan is to work on the living room area in order to create and integrated home theatre and I would like it to run from a HTPC platform. Using something like this would be absolutely perfect, it seems from reviews it can handle playing back 1080p just fine so would be a great cheap option

Yeah AMD made a smart move into the HTPC market knowing that they couldn't take Intel head on in the high-end market
 
its a massively growin market, people want smaller cases, more discreet computers, if you can build something that doesnt need much more than the APU, psu and HDD then your looking at a great option for HTPC builders. Looks like i'm going to have to skip the main pc upgrade and look into this option instead :D
 
I can't say much that's already been said. My first thought was actually the casual web browser-emailchecker for SFF, then the htcp. Great for both. usb's lol,,,14 OF 'EM. With 3.0 in there as well as Sata 6.0. Makes it easier for DIY's with the cpu already there, and seems economical too.
