if you dont overclock i think the 5000+(which is what i have) if you overclock i think the core 2 duo would be better maybe

If you are a game fan, I suggests you buy 5000+.
If you would like to watch or edit video, the core 2 duo is much butter.

I know your new to the forum, but try reading the above posts prior to posting (such as the one I made about not responding in this thread).

Secondly, don't post information when you don't know what you're talking about. The Core 2 Duo's are better at gaming, as well as multi-tasking and such. You seem to be stuck in the A64 vs P4 era.
