Hi!
I got a MSI K8MM3V motherboard and a AMD athlon 64 3200+ CPU.I want to overclock my CPU but my motherboard dont support the overclocking or I cant find it.Can you please tell how should I overclock my CPU,or is any other way exists to overclock it?(if not works in BIOS)

I wouldn't OC a CPU through Windows, It's not considered "safe". OC'ing in the BIOS is the only real way of OC'ing. Sometimes you have to press something like 'Ctrl + F1' to bring up advanced features of a Motherboard. Does your manual say anything like this?

You have to press "Delete" during the POST when you start your computer. The settings you are looking for are probably in the "Advanced Chipset Features" category.

I went in to the BIOS but I got under the Advanced Chipset features only 3 menu points: 1. AGP+P2P Bridge control
2.DRAM config
3.LDT+PCI Bus Control
I have also tried to press different key config but nothing.
So I dont know????

And I had read the motherboard`s manual as well but it says nothing about overclocking the CPU only the memory modules....

I've been doing some research and apparently the K8MM3-V motherboard doesn't support overclocking the CPU. No settings to change the FSB or vcore. Nothing.

I did find a BIOS that was modded, though I wouldn't use it.

This CPU have got 512kb L2 cache,if I change it on the same type but with 1MB L2 cache. That helps???

Cause I got MSI K8MM3V motherboard
AMD Atholn 64 3200+
2BG Corsair XMS Platinum PC3200+ DDR400 overclocked on 466Mhz
MSI 7600GS 512 MB DDR2
250GB WD 7200 rpm
500W PowerX power supply
I ask it because I have played the COD 4 on 1024X768 resolution with full effects and the Rainbow Six Vegs2 on the same config without any problems, but I have installed the Assassin`s Creed yesterday and sometimes the game looks like running very slowly..But if I move the mouse in a nother direction its works fine..

There's probably something that causes a big workload for the GPU wherever you're looking when it slows down. Either that or perhaps the game is poorly optimized. Similar things happen in games like Hitman: Blood Money and GTAIII.

When the game is running and I swich on the Windows Task Manager the processor`s performance is on 99% ????
