E6750 is about 5-10% faster than 6400+

E6850 would be much faster than 6400+

It is slightly faster than E6550 but slower than E6750

So, the closest in terms of performance would be either E6550 or E6750

i would say e6750, but the 6000+ is good priced compared to what it was before

This is the same thing AMD did with the XP line up, right before the Athlon 64 was released they came out with a XP 3200 that really didnt run any better than the XP 2800 or XP 3000.
