AMD Athlon II X3 450 or A4-3400 Llano?

This question arose in another thread of mine where I'm trying to decide on a new build.

I originally was going with the Athlon II X3 450 Rana with a GIGABYTE GA-880GMA-USB3. But someone suggested I might be better off with the A4-3400 Llano because the video integration is better than that of the CPU/motherboard combo I had chosen.

I'd probably go with the ASRock A55 PRO3 FM1 AMD A55 motherboard with the A4 APU.

I'd appreciate any help considering the pros and cons of each configuration. The computer I'm building will be used for mostly web, music, and light video (youtube, hulu, netflix online, maybe dvds).

Thanks! :)

For your requirements on what the computer is doing, the onboard video with the 880GMA is more than enough. You wouldn't notice a difference. If you needed it to play games, that would be a different story.

Right on, thanks! Yeah, I'm building this for my parents for Christmas, so there will definitely be no game playing on it. :P They don't even play those little facebook games (though I'm sure this would handle it fine if they did).

Thanks again for the input.
