:good:this one is a very revolutionary VGA game card release by ATI to beat any mainstream VGA card from Nvidia such as 9600gt or even 9800gt comparing by price and performance. I have an impressive experience while trying to playing Tom Clancy H.A.W.K with full option detail, i don't see any lack of rendering 3d.
I recommended any person especially gaming mania used this ATI Radeon HD 4770 to bring your amazing performance playing the latest game release now.

I was considering buying one of those - but they were all sold out when I was purchasing - and the 9800GTX+ was giving away a free game. TechReport gave it good marks though.

Tech report puts it at just a nudge below the 4850

They had a feature article on the New Cards]
The Radeon HD 4850, I think we can agree, is a pretty good graphics card. Since its arrival, the 4850 has set the tempo for much of the graphics card market by delivering strong performance for the price, along with a pretty good total package of image quality, features, and power efficiency.

So here's an interesting question. As you know, chip-making technology regularly advances. What would you do, if you were in the shoes of the folks at AMD, as a follow-up to the 4850?

Their answer, it turns out, is a pretty good one. They've created the RV740, a new graphics chip that's just over half the size of the GPU in the Radeon HD 4850 but packs nearly as much punch. And they've packaged up this new GPU into the Radeon HD 4770, a graphics card that sells for just north of a hundred bucks. Remarkably, this welterweight graphics card may be all you need to play the latest games at buttery smooth frame rates. Sounds pretty good, no? Let's have a closer look................................

This is one that's going to be argued til one of these companies dies. They both have their strong points, and for many it comes down to personal experience and preference. I for one, as a poor student like ATI's take on the best bang for buck policy, while others like Nvidia's (currently) undisputed place at the top of the hill with the GTX 295, regardless of pricing. To each their own really, they're comparable on pretty much all scalles of performance.
