I wanted my budget to be around 650 for the best Crysis build I can get off Newegg using AMD, this system is 654 plus shipping, I can shell out the little extra for shipping not a problem.. Seriously though, I know I said I don't really want an Intel build because I figure if I just get a board that's good enough, and supports the new am3 processor's I'd be fine. Now if any of you guys can build a better Intel system then this for 650-700 dollars that can deal with Crysis type of gaming and plenty of multitasking, PLEASE don't be shy lol. I'd be very open to something like that, it would most likely persuade me to go to Intel instead... Anyhow Thanks a lot guys for everything so far I'm still a couple days away from ordering my system, in those last couple days like around Monday if anyone can build me a better system for the purposes I've mentioned above for around the same price I'm paying now 650-700 please show me, let me know and oh yeah excluding the hard drive and dvd drive taken care of already. Thanks a lot guys, so with that being said everything is updated every looking good or what??

Looks pretty good. Just me, but if you want DDR2 800 this has better stock timing and voltage, but is higher 50 bucks free shipping.

dont the new amd's come out in january? why not wait a month and get a better cpu? plus the prices on the current cpu's will probably drop alot

Do you have an operating system installation disc of Windows XP or Vista?

In my opinion all you will need is 2 gigabytes of RAM for your system. But if you want to pay a little extra for 4 gigabytes of memory that is not a bad decision.

The thing is there's always something new coming out... btw, what new CPU is coming out in January? If you mean Fusion, no... that's coming out in 2011 I think.

Yeah I have vista home premium and xp home edition i'm still debating on which one I will use... It's cool I rather just have the 4 gb...

Hmmm i'm still very curious to see if anyone has an intel build better than this for 650-700 I know someone does someone let me see/know whatever lol..

Sweet! I probably will never get a Phenom though... when the time comes for a higher end CPU I'll either go Intel or get the Fusion, which should be awesome.

I heard they were delayed again, in January they'll only have a paper-launch (prices released, taking pre-orders etc.), but the real launch was postponed to February (February 4th I think...)

Ah!

I really don't lean either way more than the other... I like both AMD and Intel... for a low end CPU I prefer AMD and for a high end CPU I prefer Intel, but either way I'm happy. I do have to say one thing though: I LOVE Semprons and HATE Celerons.
