AMD cpu without number + ?

can someone take a look at this amd cpu

(AMD LE-1640 Orleans 2.6GHz)

what is that? I thought amd cpu supose to have numbers like 3200+, 4800+ ect....

what is that cpu? and what year is it? how old is it? how fast is it?
 
That processor is a single core am2 socket. And about the numbers only amd athlons have the 4000+ and all that. It isnt very fast, it has 1mb L2 cache,is a 90nm processor,and takes 45 watts to run. No it isnt very fast. Are you wanting to buy this and if so what for???

for the price you'd be better off getting a 4000, single cores blow nowadays
 
well someone was offering me that. is it a new cpu? or classic cpu? what year is it? what is the equivalent of it? is the athlon64 3200+ winchester faster?
