AMD Duron

Hey every one its me again to ask another question. I was looking at the procesors and i think the best one that i found was the AMD Duron, 1 GHz, 200mhz FSB, and i think it matches my FSB with my AMD K6, now does anyone know what socket accepts it any thoughts on it.
 
That wont fit a K6 board. They have an entirely different pinout system. I was looking at your other thread earlier with regards to upgrading.
I would keep what you have for now and save your money for your new system
 
well the money i would end up spending for them memory and the hard drive would be like $100, i know a few ppl and here in toront the prices have dropped on certain computer upgrades. and in regards to my other thread the most im willing to spend is $200-$250 ($250 depends oif i add a burner)
