Nice try AMD, maybe next time.
Owning Intel's quad-cores??? Ha, what are they thinking? They just got Dual-core technology a while back.
They came out with dual-cores around the same time as the Pentium D 9xx series, which was Intel's first "true" dual-core.Owning Intel's quad-cores??? Ha, what are they thinking? Quad-cores are not gonna be great for gaming, I will stick with dual-core or the ancient HT technology.

And Intel doesnt have a true quad-core processor yet either, just two dual-core dies on one CPU.
your saying that as if everyone will instantly have 8 cores... You'll only get 8 if you physically buy 2 K8L chips... and with even one having a TD of 125w (an amazingly massive jump from kentsfield's predicted TDP of just 80w)how correct you are but Agena will come out soon quad-core, 2 cpus so total of 8 cores.
