Cause like, in the UK, comp parts are way more expensive.

Stranglehold is exactly right, Many are accusing the Phenom of bugs because it has the same type of structure as a Barcelona core, and most reviews were pulled from this rather than the Phenom itself. The Phenom unlike the Opteron is used for Desktops, while the Opterons where specifically designed for servers using loads of task.
