Hopefully Vega comes out swinging as well as Ryzen has.
I don't know why, probably lack of coverage for it, but I'm getting worried Vega is going to flop or underperform from what people expect. Get the feeling people will expect it to be a 1080 TI competitor but I'm guessing more between the 1070 and 1080 and compete on price. For people like me with a 390 or similar card there isn't a very viable upgrade path at the moment. 1070 is too much and anything less is a sidegrade. Not that I need to upgrade, but I know some people with that tier of card are wanting to. Vega could fill that niche well.

it's already gone down in price though!

In other news, RX580 and 570 came out. Full processor die version of it (RX480) with minimal performance improvement. Enough to edge the 1060 6gb in most benchmarks.
