amd ii x4 635 overclock?

hi im looking to overclock my amd ii x4 635 2.9 ghz cpu n wonderd what do you thinks a safe overclock i no some people get theses chips to. 3.3 to 3.5 ghz on stock cooling

Well I've got my 620 running at about 3.7 and i can push it back up to 3.8 with l3 unlocked if i ever needed to
if you really want to overclock you're gonna need a better heatsink

but your 635 should be able to overclock a bit more then this if you're lucky you might hit 4ghz


just get a temp monitoring program and watch your temps top temp for mine is 71 c so i think yours maxes out about there aswell

i've got mine @ 3.55ghz on stock cooler. it wasn't too difficult to get it there.
