Hi!

My AMD K6-2 CPU doesn't want to work with a 100MHz fsb. It works at 95 MHz (and lower too). I tried a Pentium-MMX (233 MHz) az 100MHZ x 2.5, it worked well. But my K6-2 makes memory bugs... It only works when I shut down the L2 cache on the mobo (but it's 20% slower...).

I have a system with these parts:
AMD K6-2/450 @ 100MHz x 4.5
MSI 5169 rev. 2.1
2x 128 MB SDRAM (I tried with 1x128MB, too)

You have the voltage set right for the K6-2 450. Its suppost to run at 2.4 volts

Hi!

There was a bug in the BIOS code. I downloaded another one and I loaded on it, and the problem disappeared. (I bought it one week ago, the owner of the system made this mistake...).
(One more: K6-2 works with 2.2V (my 450MHz CPU works stable with 1.9V @ 200MHz - 2.5V @ 570MHz), some special editions work with lower voltage.)
