The new intel badges are ok looking too. They aren't green, but they look a lot cleaner than the old intel inside logo.It was socket A. Athlon XPs were toasters
I am on the fence on that one. I never had a problem cooling my Socket A machines, but then again I had a 54CFM fan and a huge solid copper heatsink, both cases I had at the time were 5+ 80mm fans as well. Not exactly a *quiet* computer haha. But then the XP-M's came out and overheating was a thing of the past.
