Amd or Intel for laptop

i'm gonna go for a laptop so which processor has the best performance? it'll probably be plugged i most of the time so i'm not worried about battery.
 
I would reccomend either a Core Duo CPU from Intel or a laptop with the new Turion 64 X2 from AMD, either one of these will be great.
 
Right now the Core Duo would be the best choice in a laptop, since it combines speed and power savings into one.
 
Core Duo would be the best. The Core 2 Duo mobile processors will not gain that much of a performance increase from Core Duo so you wont have to worry about having an obselete processor later down the road.
