AMD or Intel

I just found out that my mobo is so old that I have to upgrade, so, I dont want to spend over 250 for the motherboard AND processor together. I do high end RPG gaming. (Basically upgrading for Age of Conan). So, what would you guys suggest? Thanks =)

For the price those my friend are the bets parts money can buy.
Unless you spend 20$ more and get either an E6850 or a Q6600.
