AMD or Intel

Hello
I am going to buy a new computer in the next few days.
Though i have a problem. The descision is between 2 almost identical computers.
One is with the Intel Core i5-750 4x2,66GHz
and the other is with the new PhenomII 1055T 6x2,80GHz
Personally i would go with the intel i5, though i dont know much about the new AMD CPU if its better or something.
So my question is: Which is better; which should i buy?

Can you post a link to the two computers you're looking at buying?

It depends on the application you use

i5 wins in gaming and photoshop

1055T wins in 3d rendering, and in most of the heavy multi-threaded applications

Don't really like either of those systems you posted, they're both using low quality/generic PSU's . I'd suggest getting it built by a company like cyberpowerpc.com.
