AMD or Intel?

Hi!

I have a question regarding laptop CPUs.
Which one should I buy (and why);

AMD Turion(TM) 64 ML-37 (2.0GHz/1MB L2 Cache)
Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo processor T2400 (1.83 GHz)

How is AMD compared to Intel in general? Speed, quality etc?

Go with the Intel Core Duo, especially since it's a dual-core.

Could someone tell me why I should go with Intel? What's better with the Intel CPU?

It's a dual-core, which is basically two processors built into one. And unlike the P4's, the Core Duo is much more effective for it's clock speed.

Its allot better on battery life as well and 9/10 times its way better for office application and so the Intel CPU is just perfect for a laptop/notepad.
