maybe I don't remember, but I was thinking about server processorsBobo said:They have them for laptops?
I'm guessing he meant that for commercially available desktop CPUs (ie no supercomputers, prototypes or anything)They have them for laptops?

there is only 1 pipeline (it splits but it rejoins before the end) as for the rest I don't quite understand what you're saying...lol obviously any cpu with double the ammount of piplines would take just a 32 bit "ordinary" cpu
Where the hell do you pull your information from?? Perhaps you should have a look:The FX-57 is the best processor in the world, and the FX-55 is second.
No. Does it matter? They have them for laptops?
You're not suggesting Opteron and Xeon rigs are not commercially available are you?I'm guessing he meant that for commercially available desktop CPUs (ie no supercomputers, prototypes or anything)
LOL the silliness ensues .... *when will people quit talking crap -- the goddamn processor doesnt even exist yet*fx-57 will eat p4 for breakfast
Would the FX53 what?Would the FX-53?
Pipelines?? No CPU, from revision to revision, even between AMD and Intel has double the pipelines of a related comparable chip. Period.lol obviously any cpu with double the ammount of piplines would take just a 32 bit "ordinary" cpu
