what socket is the amd phenom 2 gunna be?
AM2+ or AM3?

The first two are AM2+, the next batch sometime in Feb. are going to be AM3. But the AM3 will have a DDR2/3 memory controller and can be used on most AM2+ boards.

I think my next upgrade (around 2012) will likely be the Phenom Tri-Core Heka model processor. It's going to have almost 8 megabytes of cache. And by 2012 it should be pretty darn cheap too.
