AMD Phenom build

My friend had asked me to build him a computer with a budget of around $1,000; he'd be using it for gaming as well as some light 3-D modeling programs. As much as I wanted to utilize an i7, I couldn't fit the parts so I came up with this build - he reviewed this build and liked it, but getting a last minute check with you guys before I order it.

Looks good, though IMO I'd get 4GB of RAM, a faster phenom II (X4 970/ X6 1055T), and HD 5870, but if you're about to order...

Assume you have OS?

EDIT
I reccomend Gelid Tranquillio for CPU cooler.

He wanted 8 GBs of RAM - Haha as much as he'd love to have a faster CPU and video card, he wanted an NVIDIA GPU - he's strict with the $1,000 budget so :P

Yeah, he has a full retail version of Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit - I'd figure I'd just OC the CPU for him to get it faster haha

OK, DW, should be OK if that's what he insisted on, I assume he needs CUDA or just has an irrational preference to nVidia:D

I edited my post, I'd pick a different CPU cooler

The other change I would have made is to get the WD 640GB Black Edition HD..Usually cost around $60. 160GB more and mininumal loss if any in HD speed.

don't go with the blue drives. go with black if you want western digital, or go with the spinpoint f3 or 7200.12 seagate drives.
