Hey,
I was looking into buying the AMD Phenom 9600+ priced at £200 ($400) here in the UK. So I did my research on the internet and found that is.. well.. sucks. Even some of AMD's own X2 range of processors outperform it that I can buy for £60 ($160) cheaper.
Currently I have an AMD X2 4600+ which is fine, but my motherboard is outdated and I don't have a 16x PCI Express slot for a new graphics card so I am going to make a new built salvaging the components I can.
I was thinking of getting a Core 2 Duo Quad, what do you think?
Thanks,
Tom
