3800+ and 3600+ will be discontinued


And we need to thank Intel, because without the July 22 price cut, AMD wouldn't have made any plan to cut the price of there processors.
 
To be honest, I wouldn't mind paying full price for an X2 6000 if AMD would just get their act together and roll out their 65nm range.
 
I am craving two new PC's, an AMD 6000 and an E6850.

How does the 4000+ compare to an E2160? Hoping to talk my boss into me a new work PC.

Well that's some shit. I am not going to spend all the money for a new CPU, motherboard, and memory. So there's DDR2 for AM2, and DDR for 939. WHOAAAAA... not a big performance difference there.

Yeah, it sucks. I'm just happy AM3 will be backwards compatible with AM2 motherboards and DDR2.
